The digital age has changed everything people used tolive by. Technology has taken humans a long way in life, starting from the first spark to the first lightbulb to the latest desktop computer and the digital age. The way people know how to write can be converted from pen and paper, to keyboard and text input.

According to the video "Linear Text," digital text at this age changed the way humans think, learn, and write. This is relevant because people use technology to get by in life, especially in this generation. Digital text is a new way to help people understand what one is saying or trying to interpret. This may not be necessary, but this is best for people with bad handwriting.

Digital text changes the way people think because people understand the original way of writing. Also, people are using Google and/or dictionary.com to help them think. People also know how to think when they type because it is easier and they do not struggle with thinking. Digital text has improved multitasking as well. People can work on two things. For instance, people can work on two essays at a time. People have created the computer not only for websites, but for others to understand one's mind completely. Digital text has created an era so that others can understand each others' words and meaning.

Digital text was not only created for typing and writing, but is used through internet. People surf the web everyday and use digital text to either give information or get information. For instance, people use Google to find information. People created websites to dish out information. Overall, people teach the computers how to work each and every day. The computers, also known as Digital Text, is what connects people all around the world together. Each and every day, people connect with each other from all around the world.

I surveyed two people above the age of 50, based on the modern-day technology we have. One said if they had what we have today, that none of the problems we had in the past would have happened. The person used WWII as an example.

In the article "Rethinking School," it is preferable for students to learn in more physical environment. Students would be able to enjoy where they are learning at. Also, teachers would be able to enjoy the environment of where they are teaching. The job of learning and the job of teaching is enhanced to a more fundamental standards. Teachers would not have to verbally teach because they have technology to do the job for them. Students would not have to be verbally taught and they would not have to verbally learn when they have technology that does that for them. According to the article, technology is making education a lot more digital.

In conclusion, the digital age is created by people and it also teaches people every day of our lives. The digital age helps people basically teaches others what they do not know. The digital text can help people understand each other in a more comprehensive order. People can now find an easier way of writing, and it will be most likely understandable. Handwriting pales in comparison to digital text because on an essay, a person will use a pen/pencil and most likely make an unintentional mistake and will have to correct it by using "White Out" or an eraser. With digital text, a click of a button or a simple function can delete one word, sentence, paragraph and/or essay. Digital text has created an era for us to live for the rest of our lives.
